I go where my life takes me and live for adventure. If I were a Disney character, I would be a combination of Belle and Ariel. I make jewelry from pearls and semi precious stones. Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. That, and watching history documentaries. Roller coasters are AMAZING. My favorite animals are (in no particular order) camels, sloths, and macaws. I wish I had a bathtub, if I did I would take a bubble bath every night. With a glass of wine. I live 5 minutes from the beach and spend every Saturday of the summer there. I should really learn how to surf.
What is your yoga journey?
I was 12 years old, and in summer camp when I first came across this weird thing called "yoga." In my teenage years I did it casually on and off, however I really took the plunge in my early 20's. While living in London, Ontario I discovered a studio near my home which I frequented regularly. When my life brought me to NYC, I would be planning my schedule around the classes at Yoga To The People in St. Marks. Today, I am a certified Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher, with additional certification in Vinyasa Flow. Currently I own and operate a studio in Tel Aviv.

Why have you chosen to work with Olive Tree Yoga Foundation?
I truly believe in being responsible for the community I live in, and for making the world that little bit better in any way I can. OTYF offers a wonderful opportunity to do exactly that. OTYF is made up of really amazing people - all incredibly motivated, passionate and goal oriented. I am in turn inspired and motivated to be counted as one among them.
What is your connection to the region in which you work?
I was born and raised in Canada, but now live in Israel (Tel Aviv). Through family history, religion, and idealistic values, I have deep roots here. I am proud to call myself Israeli, however my pride doesn't blind me to the inherent issues and very real problems in existence here. I believe that through open and honest communication and understanding, a peaceful coexistence is possible. And it is in this direction I intend to place my focus with OTYF.
What is the best piece of advice that you have ever gotten?
Breathe. Everything will be ok.
