I was born in Jerusalem, Israel and I have been practicing yoga for ten years. I LOVE it!
In addition to being in love with the practice and teaching of yoga, I am also an artist! I am in love with the world of shapes, color and form. I am working hard and happy at the job of adding a little bit more beauty to the world. I work in my studio, located in my home in Jaffa. I was told once by an old wise wmen that spirit devoures beauty and loves those who make it food. So I do.
What is your yoga journey?
I first heard about yoga when I was 12 years old. My uncle had just come back from three whole years in India! He told me about meditation and yoga. The more I learned, the more I realized that I have always been doing my own personal style of yoga, assanas, and training the mind and inner observation. It wasn't until I was 20 that I took my first Yoga class. It felt like I had arrived home.
Yoga is the organizing element that brings my life together , balancing mind , body and spirit, self growth and being of service. In yoga I learn and practice what I need for the other areas of my life. In my yoga practice and teaching, I am nurished , connected, aligned and directed daily.
I went to New York City to study and too my 200 and then my 500 teacher trainings with YogaWorks NYC. I have been teaching since 2010.
